Description: High temperatures are forecast across South Yorkshire this week, with an amber heat health alert in place on Wednesday 24 June and Thursday 25 June. At the moment, all Supertram services are running as normal and we are continuing to monitor the weather forecast closely. However, if temperatures continue to rise during the week, the heat could affect parts of the tram network and some changes to services may be needed. This could include short-notice delays, speed restrictions or cancellations to help keep passengers and colleagues safe. Hot weather can affect tram infrastructure, including tracks and overhead power equipment, which can impact the way services operate. If any changes are required, we will keep customers updated as quickly as possible through our Travel Alerts webpage and social media channels.
