Sheffield half-marathon and 10K Run

Road closures and access restrictions will be in place for Sheffield’s Half-marathon and 10K Run on Sunday 26 September affecting some bus services in the city.
The two events, organised by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All in partnership with Sheffield City Council, will take place on the same day for the first time, with road closures to ensure the safety of those taking part. Alternative bus routes will be in place and passengers are advised to check our Disruptions page before they travel.
Travel South Yorkshire is supporting the event by offering FREE parking at all of our Sheffield Park and Ride Sites.
Both events will start and finish on Arundel Gate, with the half-marathon starting at 9 am and the 10K Race starting at 1:30 pm.

- Arundel Gate
- Charter Row
- Rustlings Road
- Ecclesall Road
- Knowle Lane
- Ringinlow Road
- Sheephill Road
- Hathersage Road
- Limb Lane
- Ecclesall Road South
Road closures and access restrictions will start as early as 4 am on Sunday and some roads in the city centre, including Arundel Gate and Norfolk Street, will remain closed until 6pm. A621 (Abbeydale Road) and A57 (Manchester Road) will remain open throughout the day.
