Supertram Rail Replacement - Blue and Purple Routes - Area 1 -  19/07 to 02/08;

Affected dates: 19/07/2024 to 02/08/2024;

Reason: Maintenance work

 
Description: Works are due to take place on tram tracks on White Lane, and at Waterthorpe and Crystal Peaks tram stops.

Trams will not be able to serve Fitzalan Sq, Castle Sq, Cathedral, City Hall or West St tram stops for the duration of the works

Impact: Very severe
Mode:  Tram
South Yorkshire Supertra:  BLUE, PURP, 
Blue route services will operate between Malin Bridge and Herdings Park (via Gleadless Townend) only.

There will be no Purple service, as Herdings will be served by the Blue route.

Tram replacement bus service BL1 will operate between Gleadless Townend and Halfway, providing a fast and high frequency connection to the Supertram network.
