Disruptions

From 18 August until mid autumn, road surface repairs are taking place at Sheffield Interchange. The platforms are to undergo major repair works, which will result in services departing from different stands to their normal ones.

Service X10  instead of Clifton Lane go via Doncaster Road then Middle Lane and vice versa      passengers are advised to use stops on the diversion route

Due to works on Bridge Street service 21A will be diverted as follow:
along Thurlstone Road, Barnsley Road and High Lee Lane. (and vice versa).

Due to works on Bridge Street service 21a will continue to Millhouse Green. 
Service 21a - will be operating along Thurlstone Road, Barnsley Road and High Lee Lane. (and vice versa)
Please catch service 24a or 29 if travelling to/from Penistone at these times. All Stagecoach tickets will be valid on these services from 1730.

Due to works on Bridge Street services will be diverted via Green Road, Clarel Street, Chapelfield Lane, Park Avenue, Market St, St Marys St and then back onto Market St, High Street and Green Road to the normal 24a/29 route.
Please use stops on the diverted route.

he 13:30 departure from Doncaster on service 219 towards Barnsley calling at Cadeby at 13:43 to operate as normal to Main Street at the junction with New Lane then divert via New Lane and Melton Road before resuming normal route at the junction with Cadeby Lane.

The 08:50 departure from Barnsley on service 219a towards Doncaster calling at Cadeby at 09:59 to operate as normal to Melton Road at the junction with Cadeby Lane then divert via Melton Road and New Lane before resuming normal route on Main Street.

Towards Cantley, service 14 to operate as normal to Edlington Lane at the junction with A630 High Road then divert via High Road, Warmsworth Roundabout and Warmsworth Road before resuming normal route at the junction with Anelay Road.

Towards Edlington, service 14 to operate as normal to High Road at the junction with Oswin Avenue then divert via High Road, Warmsworth Road, Warmsworth Roundabout and High Road before resuming normal route on Edlington Lane.

Towards McAuley School, service 466 to operate as normal to Coventry Grove at the junction with Hereford Road then divert via Hereford Road, Truro Avenue, Derby Road, Barnby Dun Road and Thorne Road before resuming normal route on Chestnut Avenue.

Towards Clay Lane, service 15 to operate as normal to Truro Road at the junction with Crompton Road then divert via Truro Avenue and Derby Road before resuming normal route on Barnby Dun Road.

Towards Edlington, service 15 to operate as normal to Barnby Dun Road at the junction with Derby Road then divert via Derby Road and Truro Avenue before resuming normal route at the junction with Crompton Road.

INBOUND Services 95 & 95a will operate as normal to Brook Hill roundabout then divert via Upper Hanover Street, St Marys Gate, St Marys Roundabout, Eyre Street and Furnival Square before resuming normal route on Furnival Street.
INBOUND Service 120 service will operate as normal to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital then divert up Clarkson Street down Western Bank to Brook Hill roundabout, Upper Hanover Way, St Marys Gate, St Marys Roundabout, Eyre Street & Furnival Square roundabout.

Towards Doncaster, service 221 to operate as normal to Hill Top Road roundabout, then divert via Hill Top Road, left onto Hill Top Road and Bolton Street before resuming normal route at the junction with Wheatley Street.
Towards Rotherham, operate as normal to Bolton Street at the junction with Wheatley Street then divert via Bolton Street, Hill Top Road and right onto Hill Top Road before resuming normal route on Doncaster Road.
Passengers should use bus stops on the diversion route.

Towards Doncaster, service X20 to operate as normal to Hill Top Road roundabout then divert via Hill Top Road, Bolton Street, Wheatley Street, Tickhill Square, Wadworth Street and Church Road before resuming normal route on Doncaster Road.
Towards Barnsley, operate as normal to the junction with School Walk then divert via School Walk, Church Road, Wadworth Street, Tickhill Square, Wheatley Street, Bolton Street, Hill Top Road and right onto Hill Top Road before resuming normal route on Doncaster Road.
Passengers should use stops on the diversion.

New York Stadium -Rotherham United Home Games

When Main St closes:
Service 137 towards Rotherham will turn left on Centenary Way, College Rd roundabout then Bridge Str.
FROM Rotherham will divert via Chantry Bridge, Greasbrough Rd & Centenary Way then U turn back to Masbrough St

TO GET THERE:
Approx 5-10 min walk from Interchange/Rotherham Central

Hillsborough Stadium - Sheffield Wednesday Homes Games

When Leppings La (only) closes:
Services 18, 97 & 98 TOWARDS Hillsborough Interchange will divert along Penistone Rd then turn right along Bradfield Rd to Hillsborough Corner.
Services FROM Hillsborough Interchange will turn left onto Langsett Rd, left down Bamforth St then left along Penistone Rd.

Additionally due to parked cars on Donovan Road, Service 98 will operate via the 97 route for the duration of a game

TO GET THERE:
Leppings La: Tram Yellow Route to Middlewood, Ser 57.
Penistone Rd: Services 7, 8, 8A & 86 in both directions.

Bramall Lane Stadium -Sheffield United Homes Games

Bramall Lane will close for a substantial period. Shoreham Street will also close sporadically between Alderson Road & Charlotte Road roundabout.
Services 11, 18 & MAN4 will divert via Queens Road, Charlotte Road, Shoreham Street & St Marys in both directions.
Service 252 will divert via Queens Road, Granville Square and St. Mary's in both directions 

TO GET THERE:
Shoreham St: 11,24,25 & 51

Note: If Shoreham Street is closed, then 1a, 11, 18, 24, 41, 51, 252 & MAN4 services will all divert via Queens Road, Granville Square & St Marys in both directions.

Due to Roadworks on Gawber Road buses will be diverted along Summer Lane. Please use stops on the diversion route or make alternative arrangements. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Services 21 and X54 will terminate at Kiveton Park.

Service 26/26a will be running a temporary tameable, service 26 will run as normal to Harthill where it will then change to 26a running via Thorpe Road and Hard Lane back to Kiveton Park to pick up 26a route, the temporary timetable can be found on Travel South Yorkshire Website.

service 626 will start/terminate at Thorpe Road Harthill

Use stops on the diversion

The 1240 from Sheffield and the 1330 from Dore will need to divert via Hathersage Road and Ecclesall Road South, omitting Ringinglow Rd and Knowle Lane. Passengers  affected are advised to use stops on the diversion or to make alternative arrangements.

Service 217 will not be serving Manvers due to delays from Traffic Management on Manvers Way, the bus will divert from Wath bus station via Wath Road, Barnsley road in both directions

The bus diversion for Reney Road is Hemper Lane. However, in the event poor parking causes Hemper Lane to be unusable, then buses may have to use Greenhill Main Road and Greenhill Parkway . 
If this is the case, we advise passengers to use stops further along the normal line of route.

During roadworks on Rotherham Road and Carlton Road service 12 will be unable to serve some stops on Carlton Road and will be diverted via Wakefield Road and Laithes Lane. Please use stops on diverted route or further along the route.

Service 73 Will divert Inbound via Alma Road, Moorgate Street, Ship Hill Corporation Street.
Outbound Service 73 will divert via Sheffield Road, Old Sheffield Road, before turning right on to Canklow Road towards Canklow.

services X1,X10 will divert Inbound from Sheffield Road via Old Sheffield Road, Alma Road, Moorgate Street, Ship Hill before resuming route on Corporation Street towards the interchange
Outbound services X1,X10 will still run normal route through Westgate and Sheffield Road however stops within the area of works will be suspended and passengers are advised to catch the bus at alternative stops along the route

Towards Stainforth, service 457 to operate as normal to Station Road at the junction with East Lane then divert via East Lane and Emerson Avenue before resuming normal route on Church Road.

Towards Hatfield Woodhouse, service will be unaffected and should operate as normal.

After 18:00, services 219 and 219a will not reach stops from Great Houghton Thurnscoe Lane/Stonebridge Lane to Goldthore Fields End Road/Dunsil Lane in both directions. 

Also from 18:00, service 226 will only run between Barnsley and Goldthorpe Barnsley Road/Highgate in both directions.

Service 19 will divert via 19 A6021 Clifton Lane, A6021 Wharncliffe Street, A6021 Drummond Street   

Service 3 will divert via right turn from Broom Valley Road then at roundabout A6021 Clifton Lane, A6021 Wharncliffe Street, A6021 Drummond Street               

Outbound diversion via Clarkson Street, Glossop Road, Nile Street and back to normal route. 
Passengers advised to use stops on the diversion or further along the normal line of route.
Inbound journeys to City Centre are unaffected.
