Emergency closure due to installation of water supply please use alternative stops along the route or please make other arrangements during this period.

Bus services  226, 22x, 72,72a  will divert via A633 to Festival Road, Stump Cross Road, Cemetery Road, West Street to the bus station. Services will run as normal in eastbound direction.

Buses on the 223 will still be able to reach all their usual stops but in a different order. Between Wombwell and Station Road in Wath buses will use their normal route. From Station Road buses will use the following route serving all bus stops along it.
Station Road, Doncaster Road, Burman Road, Festival Road, Stump Cross Road, Cemetery Road (towards Wath town Centre), Church Street, West Street, Montgomery Road, Wath bus station, Church Street, Cemetery Road (towards Wath Cemetery),  Quarry Hill Road, Sandygate, Burman Road, Doncaster Road, Station Road, where buses will then follow the normal route to Wombwell.

Buses will need to divert via Hawke Street, Attercliffe Common, Meadowhall Way, Meadowhall Rd. We advise using stops on the diversion route.

Service 22 will NOT serve the Carlton Estate After 6pm each evening. Passengers are advised to catch the service on the A60

Church Street will be closed due to fibre installation. During this time services 93 and 95a will be operating between Kexbrough, Barnsley Centre and vice versa. Darton and Woolley will not be served during this time. For journeys to and from Woolley please use service 97 or service 1 (check timetable for details)

From 2100 until end of service every Friday & Saturday (and Sunday evenings on Bank Holiday Mondays) until further notice.
INBOUND - Services 51,52 and 52a will operate as normal to the Children's Hospital then divert down Western Bank to Brook Hill roundabout, Upper Hanover Way, Moore Street, Charter Road, Furnival Street then turn at Furnival Square roundabout.
INBOUND Services 95 & 95a will operate as normal to Brook Hill roundabout then divert via Upper Hanover Street, St Marys Gate, St Marys Roundabout, Eyre Street and Furnival Square before resuming normal route on Furnival Street.
INBOUND Service 120 service will operate as normal to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital then divert up Clarkson Street down Western Bank to Brook Hill roundabout, Upper Hanover Way, St Marys Gate, St Marys Roundabout, Eyre Street & Furnival Square roundabout.

Carriageway resurfacing will prevent buses using this stop between 20:00 and 06:00. Please use alternative stops along the route during these works.

Service 1 and 1a to divert via Barnsley Road

Services 88, 95, 95a to divert via Barnsley Road and Stubbin Lane back to normal route

Due to the road closure buses will be diverted on Harborough Hill Road, Old Mill Lane and Eldon Street North. Please use alternative stops in the Interchange.

Service 11 will operate 1a Route to Daresbury Road then operate East Bank Road, Gleadless Common , Hollinsend Road and Gleadless Road in both directions. From 20 May Service 11 will then operate 1a route between Town and Newfield Green 

Nights after 1900 until 0500 (until 20 May) service 18 to omit Carrfield Road, Richards Road, Spencer Road and Prospect Road and operate via Chesterfield Road, Valley Road and Rushdale Road, Upper albert Road Meersbrook Road in both directions 

Service 95 to divert via Jenkin Road in both directions (95A route).

Diversion via Retford Road and Rotherham Road.

120 towards University unaffected, inbound via Brook Hill, Upper Hannover St, Hannover Way, St Mary's Gate and resume route on Eyre Street

181 towards University unaffected, inbound via Brook Hill, Upper Hannover St, Hannover Way, Moore St, Charter Row and resume normal route

X30, 30 & 30a towards University unaffected, inbound via Brook Hill, Upper Hannover St, Hannover Way, Moore St, Charter Row and resume on Arundel Gate. Passengers should use stops near the Glossop Road terminus, or on Arundel Gate.

51, 52, 52a towards University unaffected, inbound via Brook Hill, Upper Hannover St, Hannover Way, St Mary's Gate  and resume routes. 

95 & 95a towards University unaffected, inbound via Brook Hill, Upper Hannover St, Hannover Way,  St Mary's Gate  and resume routes.

Sheffield Connect to omit Norfolk Street, Surrey St, Leopold Street, West Street, Carver Street, Division Street, and Rockingham Street, and to operate via Furnival Gate, Charter Row, Fitzwilliam Gate, Cumberland Street, Eyre Street, Furnival Street, Brown Street, Paternoster Row, Interchange, Pond Street, Fitzalan Square, Arundel Gate, Furnival Gate

X30 towards University unaffected, inbound  via Brook Hill, Upper Hannover St, Hannover Way, Moore St, Charter Row and resume normal route.

Towards Arksey, service 64 to operate as normal to Arksey Lane and terminate at the junction of Balfour Road.

Towards Doncaster, service 64 to depart from Arksey Lane and operate via Balfour Road. Burns Street and The Avenue before resuming normal route on Arksey Lane.

Services 219/219a to turn around at Gt. Houghton back to Cathill and along A635 back to Goldthorpe then onto Doncaster

Services 219/219a to Goldthorpe then via A635 to Cathill to Gt Houghton then back to Barnsley.

Service 226 to terminate at Goldthorpe (to/from Barnsley).

Buses will operate direct along Manchester Road/Thurlstone Road. Please use stops further along the route.

Service 19 will divert via 19 A6021 Clifton Lane, A6021 Wharncliffe Street, A6021 Drummond Street   

Service 3 will divert via right turn from Broom Valley Road then at roundabout A6021 Clifton Lane, A6021 Wharncliffe Street, A6021 Drummond Street                              

We advise using stops on Shalesmoor, Arundel Gate, Flat Street or the Interchange

Towards Balby, service 455 to operate as normal to Woodfield Way at the roundabout with Water Vole Way then divert via Water Vole Way, turn at the roundabout, Water Vole Way, Woodfield Way, White Rose Way, Carr House Road, Balby Flyover, Balby Road, Sandford Road, Tickhill Road and Woodfield Way before terminating on Plantation Road.

Towards McAuley School, service 472 to operate as normal to The Maple Tree on Plantation Road then divert via Plantation Road, Woodfield Way, Tickhill Road, Sandford Road, Balby Road, Balby Flyover, Carr House Road and White Rose Way before resuming normal route on Wilmington Drive.

Towards Doncaster, service 472 to operate as normal to Wilmington Drive at the junction with White Rose Way then divert via White Rose Way, Carr House Road, Balby Flyover, Balby Road, Sandford Road, Tickhill Road and Woodfield Way before resuming normal route on Plantation Road.
