iPort Bridge Scheme Consultation

The iPort Bridge Scheme is a proposed new transport link between New Rossington and the iPort, over the River Torne. It will help people get to the iPort by public transport, walking and cycling.

We asked for people’s views on plans for the Scheme in a public consultation, held between Monday 3 August and Monday 31 August 2020.

Online Q&A sessions took place on Thursday 6 August 2020 at 6pm-7.15pm and Wednesday 19 August 2020 at 3pm-4.15pm.

The iPort Bridge Scheme will be delivered by Doncaster Council and South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE).

People without the internet can have their say on the iPort Bridge Scheme in a paper form by picking up an information pack and questionnaire from the Customer Service Desk at Doncaster Interchange, or by calling Traveline on 01709 51 51 51 to request a copy.

Feedback from the consultation will help to shape a full planning application for the Scheme, which will be submitted to Doncaster Council in Autumn 2020.

The iPort Bridge Scheme is part of Sheffield City Region’s £166 million Transforming Cities Fund.
