updated: 15 July 2021 - Community transport service information updated
Door 2 Door bus services (also known as Community Transport) are for people who have difficulty using the mainstream public transport network. These services use fully accessible vehicles and can take you from your own home to places round your local area - like supermarkets or town centres - without the need to get to a bus stop.
Community Transport - Coronavirus updates
All Community Transport services will resume from Monday 19 July 2021. This will include Shopper Bus services.
For the protection of staff and customers, the operators request that all passengers, unless exempt, still continue to use face coverings masks whilst onboard Community Transport vehicles, even after the 19 July 2021.
Please remember, you should not travel on Community Transport services if you have any COVID-19 symptoms.
Community Transport services offer free travel for high priority groups struggling to get to Covid-19 vaccination sites
Community Transport providers across South Yorkshire are offering a free return journey to a Covid-19 vaccination site to people, in high priority groups, who cannot access public transport and have no alternative.
To book your return journey, call your local provider using the number below when you have your vaccine appointment details. Please try to give us as much notice as possible, at least one or two days before you need to travel.
