We’ve worked with operators, local authority representatives, employers and residents to identify changes that we feel would improve specific local services and are looking to implement some of them from Sunday 1 September 2024.
We’re now seeking your views on these proposed changes to the bus network. You have until Tuesday 16 July to send us your feedback.

70 TM Travel | Sheffield – Waverley - Meadowhall | New Monday to Saturday daytime service operating between Sheffield and Manor Top, partially replacing service 41. 71/71a TM Travel | Sheffield – Darnall – Swallownest - Harthill | New Monday to Sunday daytime service operating between Sheffield and Harthill. Service 71 will operate Monday to Sunday daytimes, serving Darnall and Sheffield Business Park. Between Catcliffe and Harthill service 71 will directly replace service X54. Sunday journeys will be numbered 71a and operate via Parkway Markets. | View route map |
76a TM Travel | Sheffield – Chancet Wood | Service renumbered M76, with a change of route in Sheffield city centre to serve Sheffield Interchange. Minor timetable changes. | View route map |
M35 Cawthornes | Warren – Chapeltown – Parson Cross | New service operating between Warren, Chapeltown, Ecclesfield and Parson Cross, to partially replace service 35a. Will additionally serve Smithy Wood Business Park, Ecclesfield and Parson Cross. | View route map |
M44/M45 TM Travel | Crystal Peaks – Birley – Frecheville – Crystal Peaks | New services to serve Moorthorpe Medical Centre and Birley Medical Centre. Improves access to healthcare, education and leisure facilities. Both services will operate hourly, each way around the loop on Monday to Saturday daytimes. | View route map |
M55 TM Travel | Crystal Peaks - Plumbley | New service M55 will operate along the current 55 route between Crystal Peaks and Plumbley. No changes to the time, but through journeys will no longer be available to Frecheville/Hackenthorpe. Change of service required at Crystal Peaks. | View route map |
