Engineering works impact rail services

Engineering works across the network will cause disruption to train services. Customers are advised to check with their operator for the latest information before they travel.
 

East Midland Railways (EMR)

  • Monday 9 January to Saturday 14 January. Work will be taking place between London St Pancras International and Nottingham/Derby /Sheffield affecting services in the Nottingham/Derby area.
  • Saturday 14 January to Sunday 15 January. Work will be taking place between Hope and Sheffield all weekend and also between Manchester Piccadilly and Ardwick all day on Sunday, closing some lines and affecting services between Liverpool Lime Street and Nottingham/Norwich.
  • Monday 16 January to Friday 20 January. Work will close lines overnight from Monday evening until Saturday morning, affecting services between London St Pancras International and Corby/Derby/Sheffield.
  • Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 January. Work will be taking place between Hope and Sheffield all weekend, closing some lines and affecting services between Liverpool Lime Street and Nottingham/Norwich. 
  • Monday 23 January to Thursday 26 January. Work will be taking place Luton and London St Pancras International, closing some lines on Monday to Thursday evenings, affecting services between Sheffield and London St Pancras International.
  • Saturday 28 January and Sunday 29 January. Works will be taking place between Manchester and Sheffield, closing all lines and affecting services between Liverpool Lime Street and Norwich.

Northern 

  • Saturday 21 January and Sunday 22 January. Work will be taking place between Hope and Sheffield all weekend, closing some lines and affecting services between Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield.
