Essential resurfacing and maintenance works are currently taking place at Sheffield Interchange until mid-Autumn 2023.
During the works:
Buses may arrive and depart from different stands.
Some pedestrian crossing points will be closed with diversions in place.
Live departure information may be unavailable or incomplete.
Some timetable information will not be available at certain bus stands.
The work will be completed in phases to minimise disruption.
Current Phase: Phase 3
All bus services will use their normal stands on Thursday 28 September and in the daytime from Friday 29 September to Sunday 1 October. Phase 4 begins on Monday 02 October.
This page has been updated with changes to the works schedule for overnight works and Phase 4.
Departure times won't change as a result of the resurfacing works, but information may be unavailable at certain stands. Download timetables for your service below, or visit the Customer Service Desk for assistance.

Phase 1 - Complete Resurfacing works outside platform B have been completed on-schedule. Stands B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 and B6 have now reopened.
Phase 2 - Complete Resurfacing works outside platform C have been completed on-schedule. Stands C1, C2, C3, C4, C5 and C6 have now reopened.
Phase 3 - from Thursday 14 September Resurfacing works are taking place outside platform D.
Stands D2, D3, D4, D5, and D6 will be closed. Bus services which normally use the closed stands will temporarily use alternative stands elsewhere in the Interchange.
Crossings 3, 5 and 7 will be closed. For your safety, please follow diversion routes and use designated crossing points.
Temporary Stand Changes:
Services 65 (to Tideswell), 271 and 272 will change from stand D2 to C2.
Services 218 and 257 will change from stand D3 to C3.
Service X17 (to Chesterfield, Matlock and Wirksworth) will change from stand D4 to B4.
Services 50, 50a and 80a will change from stand D5 to B5.
Overnight Works - from Friday 29 September Resurfacing works will take place at the main entrance and turning point inside the Interchange at the following times:
From 21:00 on Friday 29 September to 06:00 on Saturday 30 September
From 21:00 on Saturday 30 September to 06:00 on Sunday 1 October
Platforms B, C and D will be entirely closed at these times. All bus services will temporarily depart from stands on Platform A or bus stop FS5 on Flat Street.
Crossing 1 will be closed. For your safety, please follow diversion routes and use designated crossing points.

Service 18: stand FS5
Service 32: stand A3
Service 50: stand A5
Service 56 (towards Wybourn): stand FS5
Service 73: stand A4
Service 80a: stand A5
Service 208: stand A4
Service 216: stand A5

Service 257: stand A3
Service 272: stand FS5
Service X5: stand A2 (evening) and stand A5 (morning)
Service X17 (towards Chesterfield): stand A4
Service X78: stand A1
All other services will depart their designated stand on platform A is normal.
There are no changes to services using Platform E.
Phase 4 - from Monday 02 October Resurfacing works will take place outside platform A.
Stands A1, A2, A3, A4 and A5 will be closed. Bus services which normally use the closed stands will temporarily use alternative stands elsewhere in the Interchange.
All crossings will remain open during this phase.
Temporary Stand Changes:
Services 95, 95a and 252 will change from stand A1 to B5.
Service 56 (towards Nether Edge) will change from stand A2 to B3.
