    The Tour de Yorkshire is coming to Doncaster and Barnsley on 3 and 4 May 2018!

     

    The Tour de Yorkshire starts on Thursday 3 May with Stage 1 running 182km from Beverley to Doncaster. Stage 2 takes place on Friday 4 May with the 149km route running from Barnsley to Ilkley and then continues for a further two stages, finishing in Leeds on Sunday 6 May. 

    You can view the Stage 1 and 2 routes and anticipated timings on the official Tour de Yorkshire website. 

    The Asda Women's Tour de Yorkshire also starts 3 May and runs for two days, with riders racing on the last 132km and 124km respectively of the men's stages which commence later each day.

    Tour de Yorkshire is an annual international cycle race returning in 2018 for its fourth edition of the race. This year’s race has expanded from three to four stages and will reach all four corners of the county, taking in 169 villages, towns and cities and clocking up 442 miles along the way. The event has grown year-on-year with last year’s event recording record 2.2 million spectators and attracting 9.7 million global TV viewers.  

    South Yorkshire will host various events and spectator points along the route to catch a glimpse of the action.
