Your bus journey, your choice

Passengers told us they want their bus travel to be simpler and hassle free. So that's exactly what you can now expect with Optio - a partnership between your local bus operators.

• Catch the next Optio bus that comes along

There are currently two schemes within the Optio partnership in Sheffield - Red and Orange: 

Optio Red

Launched in October 2011, Optio Red takes in the following route:

Hillsborough - Crookes - Sheffield - Darnall - Handsworth - Woodhouse - Woodhouse Mill 

Optio Red tickets can be used on the 52 service.

Optio Orange

Introduced in July 2011, Optio Orange takes in the following route:

Lodge Moor - Fulwood - Royal Hallamshire Hospital - Sheffield - Crystal Peaks - Halfway 

Optio Orange tickets can be used on the 42, 44, 49, 50/50A, 53, 120 and 123 services.
