First Day at School - make your plan now - here are some things to check before you travel:
Is it your first day at a new school? Or are you catching the bus to school for the first time? Don't worry - we can give you some helpful tips to make your first journey easier.
- Check if any of your classmates are getting the same bus. You could travel together.
- Check that you know what time your bus is supposed to leave. There are timetables at most stops, or you can look for your timetable with the online timetable finder.
- Get your things ready the night before - then you don't have to rush in the morning.
- Make sure you have the right money for your fare and your MegaTravel pass with you.
- Plan your bus journey using a timetable and stick to the same time and route for the first few weeks. You'll soon get the hang of it.
