16-18 Student Pass
If you’re aged between 16 and 18 and studying at a college or sixth form* in South Yorkshire, you can get a 16 - 18 Student Pass.
You can travel anywhere, at anytime, on any bus and tram in South Yorkshire for only 70p. You’ll also receive 50% off Northern Rail train services running within Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley and Sheffield.
Simply download a 16-18 student pass application form (PDF), fill it in and hand it back to us at a Travel South Yorkshire information centre. You can read more information on the 16-18 student pass page on the Travel South Yorkshire website.
Student term TravelMaster
This ticket is available to college students and is valid on all buses, trams and trains in South Yorkshire at a reduced price of £165.50 per term. 16-19 TravelMaster
If you’re aged between 16 and 18 and are no longer in full time education then a TravelMaster could be just the ticket for you.
If offers unlimited travel on any bus, tram and train throughout the whole of South Yorkshire for a one off fee.
A seven day 16-19 TravelMaster ticket costs £13.45. A 28 day 16-19 TravelMaster ticket costs £47.25.
19-21 TravelMaster
If you’re in full time employment, you could consider a 19-21 TravelMaster The ticket offers unlimited travel on any bus, tram and train throughout the whole of South Yorkshire for a one off fee. This seven day 19-21 TravelMaster ticket costs £16.50. The 28 day 19-21 TravelMaster ticket costs £56.30.
To purchase a 16-19 and 19-21 TravelMaster visit any Travel South Yorkshire Information Centre with your money, proof of age and a passport sized photo.
*Students have to attend at least 12 hours a week of guided learning to qualify for the 16-18 student pass. All Student pass application forms must be completed in full before submission.
