Travel South Yorkshire is here to provide you with travel assistance and public transport information. Whether you are travelling by bus, tram, train, or using one of our Park & Ride sites, we champion our customer and information services. As a partnership we also offer useful information regarding walking, cycling and greener driving.

However often you travel by public transport, Travel South Yorkshire can assist you in making the right travel decisions.

Public transport information

Travel South Yorkshire recommend a number of ways you can receive public transport information and assistance:

• face to face travel advice from Travel South Yorkshire’s information centres and interchanges 
• information leaflets at 400 locations such as local post offices, hospitals, doctors surgeries and libraries throughout South Yorkshire
• kiosks at interchanges and key shopping areas for assistance with journey planning and live departure information 
• service and route information displays at bus stops, most tram stops and train stations
• online travel tools such as Ticket finder and Timetable finderand the interactive public transport map 
• the Traveline service for over the phone travel assistance everyday between 0700-2200 on 01709 51 51 51
• the YourNextBus text and WAP service enabling you to receive live bus departure information on your mobile phone
• timetable updates service which you can register for to be notified by email if your bus, tram or train service is due to change
