Sheffield Walking Festival

images

10 days. 40 walks. 1 amazing city. AND, 1 walk hosted by us!

Sheffield Walking Festival returns 13 - 22 September 2019. Over ten days, the festival presents a host of enjoyable walks for a range of abilities, with plenty to see and discover along the way.

The festival celebrates all sides of Sheffield with 40 routes of varying lengths and themes. Explore the city’s varied heritage and fascinating suburbs on urban strolls or venture out to Sheffield's dramatic borders that overlap with the stunning Peak District National Park for something more challenging.

Our Active and Sustainable Travel team will once again be leading a ‘Mini Blue Loop’ walk

Walking is a fantastic form of exercise. It costs absolutely nothing and gives you some amazing health benefits. It's the ultimate form of zero emission transport, too!

The Blue Loop is a continuous loop of waterways and riverside walkways in the heart of Sheffield, made up of The River Don and Tinsley Canal. This mini loop covers the first section and is a pleasant stroll, which acts as a gentle introduction to the full walk.

Book your place.
