16-18 Student Pass
The 16-18 Student Pass entitles pass holders to concessionary travel on buses and trams in South Yorkshire. Pass holders are also entitled to half fare on Northern Rail train services in South Yorkshire.

The current concessionary fare on buses and trams in South Yorkshire is 70p.
To qualify for a 16-18 Student Pass you must be:
- a resident of South Yorkshire
- in full-time education
- under 18 at the start of the academic year.
To apply, you will need to complete an application form and have this signed/verified electronically by your school or college. Once you have done this, you can either bring your application form in to one of our Travel South Yorkshire Information Centres, or post it to:

Your pass will be posted to your home address.
Please note this pass is not available at Adwick, Dinnington and Hillsborough Interchanges.
16-18 Student Passes are valid from September to July. If you still qualify next year, you will need to submit another application form.
Replacements passes cost £7. To order a replacement pass, you will need to show ID and proof of address in one of our Travel South Yorkshire Information Centres. Your new pass will be posted to your home address.
